Flying to northeast US was again shrouded in uncertainty with a massive snow storm descending over the region and threatening operations in major airports like New York and Boston.

While Air India and United, the two airlines that have direct flights from Delhi to New York and Chicago, said they have not cancelled flights scheduled to leave on Saturday night-Sunday morning, everything depended on the weather and airports remaining opening there. A Delhi airport spokesperson said that all flights to US on Saturday night were on schedule. “Our flights on Friday night-Saturday morning to US were delayed because of the weather. The situation is the same on Saturday night-Sunday morning and everything depends on the weather,” said AI spokesman G P Rao.
